Final word on banned books

Saw this reference in David Crystal’s The Stories of English (2004) and had to post it here. Chaucer deserves to have the last word on the issue of censorship and book banning:

And therefore, whoso list it nat yheere,/Turne over the leef and chese [choose] another tale;/ … Blameth nat me if that ye chese amys.
